PRINCIPAL
Poetry is an extension of a
poet, his experience, his environment and his human interactions .In short, a
poet gives vent to his pent up emotions through his poetry. A true poet like a
plane mirror reflects life at its best or in its utter reality. He neither
enhances nor modifies or distorts the image.
My friend Mr.A.Ramasamy, a
poet, a philosopher and guide for many is a keen observer of life around him
and has ability to put them poetically into beautiful words and verses. He has
written about nature, about his family members, people close to his heart,
about his friends and whatever fascinates him and his imagination. He is quiet
a religious and pious person but has great respect for all religions. He reads
Bhagavat Gita, Bible and Koran every day and is also proficient in each. I, as
a friend for more than 50 years, am very proud of him as a person and his
achievements as a poet. I am sure this collected edition of his poems will be
celebrated by future generations as a great poetical heritage. I wish him long
life and success in all his endeavours.

ABOUT THE WRITER
I,
Anna.Mohan(A.Ramasamy), am a native of Tiruvannamalai. I learnt from my father
late sri.T.R.Annamalai-Jeweller- all good qualities in life. To pray God daily,
to go to temple often, not to be a talkative, to be honest in the business, to
keep up word and crowning all to be punctual always.
My
writings are just write ups without any
grammatical treatise.
The
wisdom of writing has dawned upon me at the age of 58 only.What ever occurred
to my mind was written as ‘words of the Heart’(‘IDHAYA EZHUTHTHUKKAL’) I long for unity of minds in
diversity of faiths. My ambition is to see united ‘ONE WORLD’.
May God bless all the creatures of this world to
choose and live righteous path.
